Epival Chrono CR is indicated for the treatment of:
- Generalised and partial epilepsy.
- Manic episodes of bipolar disorder.
- Migraine prevention (specialist use).

Dosage and administration of Epival Chrono CR:
Adults: start 300-600 mg daily in divided doses; increase gradually to 1,000-2,000 mg/day (up to 2.5 g) as directed; extended-release forms are taken once or twice daily.

Epival Chrono CR should not be used in:
- Liver disease or family history of severe liver dysfunction.
- Mitochondrial disorders, urea cycle disorders, porphyria.
- Pregnancy and women of childbearing age unless no alternative (high risk of birth defects).
