Indicationsনির্দেশনা
Duric is indicated for the treatment of:
- Prevention of gout attacks and chronic gout.
- High uric acid from chemotherapy.
- Uric acid and calcium oxalate kidney stones.

Dosage & Administrationমাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
Dosage and administration of Duric:
- Adults: start 100 mg daily, increase by 100 mg weekly to the usual 300 mg daily (up to 800 mg); reduce in kidney impairment.
- Start after an acute attack has settled, with NSAID or colchicine cover for the first months.

Duric should not be used in:
- Hypersensitivity.
- Do not start during an acute gout attack.

Precautions while using Duric:
- Stop at the first sign of rash.
- Consider HLA-B*5801 testing in people of Han Chinese, Thai or Korean ancestry.
- Drink plenty of fluids.
