DuoCain is indicated for the treatment of:
- Local anaesthesia of intact skin before needle insertion, blood sampling and minor procedures.
- Anaesthesia of genital mucosa and leg ulcers (specific products).

Dosage and administration of DuoCain:
Apply a thick layer (about 2.5 g per 10 cm2) under an airtight dressing 1-2 hours before the procedure; do not exceed the maximum area for age.

DuoCain should not be used in:
- Hypersensitivity to amide anaesthetics.
- Methaemoglobinaemia, G6PD deficiency; newborns and infants with methaemoglobin-inducing drugs; broken skin.

- Rare: methaemoglobinaemia, especially in infants.
