Indicationsনির্দেশনা
Deprex is indicated for the treatment of:
- Schizophrenia.
- Manic episodes of bipolar disorder and prevention of relapse.

Blocks dopamine and serotonin receptors in the brain.

Dosage & Administrationমাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
Dosage and administration of Deprex:
- Adults: 5-10 mg once daily (maximum 20 mg), adjusted gradually.
- Lower doses in the elderly and in liver or kidney impairment.
Deprex-এর মাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি:
- প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক: দিনে একবার ৫-১০ মিগ্রা (সর্বোচ্চ ২০ মিগ্রা), ধীরে ধীরে সমন্বয় করুন।

Interactionড্রাগ ইন্টারঅ্যাকশন
Deprex may interact with:
Alcohol and sedatives, carbamazepine and smoking lower levels, fluvoxamine raises levels, benzodiazepines (IM use).
Deprex-এর সাথে যেসব ওষুধের ইন্টারঅ্যাকশন হতে পারে:
অ্যালকোহল ও ঘুমের ওষুধ; কার্বামাজেপিন ও ধূমপান মাত্রা কমায়, ফ্লুভক্সামিন মাত্রা বাড়ায়; বেনজোডায়াজেপিন (IM ব্যবহারে)।
Contraindicationsপ্রতিনির্দেশনা
Deprex should not be used in:
- Hypersensitivity.
- Narrow-angle glaucoma.

Side Effectsপার্শ্বপ্রতিক্রিয়া
Possible side effects of Deprex:
- Weight gain, drowsiness, raised blood sugar and lipids, dry mouth, constipation, dizziness.
- Movement disorders; rare: neuroleptic malignant syndrome.
