Indicationsনির্দেশনা
Cquin is indicated for the treatment of:
- Treatment and prevention of malaria caused by sensitive parasites.
- Amoebic liver abscess.
- Rheumatoid arthritis and lupus (older use).
Cquin নিম্নলিখিত ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহৃত হয়:
- সংবেদনশীল পরজীবীজনিত ম্যালেরিয়ার চিকিৎসা ও প্রতিরোধ।
- অ্যামিবিক লিভার অ্যাবসেস।
- রিউমাটয়েড আর্থ্রাইটিস ও লুপাস (পুরোনো ব্যবহার)।
Pharmacologyফার্মাকোলজি
Interferes with the parasite's ability to digest haemoglobin inside red blood cells.
ম্যালেরিয়া পরজীবীর লোহিত রক্তকণিকার ভেতরে হিমোগ্লোবিন হজম করার ক্ষমতায় বাধা দেয়।
Dosage & Administrationমাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
Dosage and administration of Cquin:
- Malaria treatment (adults): 600 mg base initially, then 300 mg base after 6, 24 and 48 hours.
- Prevention: 300 mg base once weekly; check local resistance patterns.
- Chloroquine phosphate 500 mg equals 300 mg base.
Cquin-এর মাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি:
- ম্যালেরিয়ার চিকিৎসা (প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক): প্রথমে ৬০০ মিগ্রা বেস, তারপর ৬, ২৪ ও ৪৮ ঘণ্টা পর ৩০০ মিগ্রা বেস।
- প্রতিরোধ: সপ্তাহে একবার ৩০০ মিগ্রা বেস; স্থানীয় প্রতিরোধ ক্ষমতার ধরন দেখে নিন।
- ক্লোরোকুইন ফসফেট ৫০০ মিগ্রা সমান ৩০০ মিগ্রা বেস।
Interactionড্রাগ ইন্টারঅ্যাকশন
Cquin may interact with:
Antacids (separate by 4 hours), QT-prolonging drugs, antidiabetic drugs, digoxin, ciclosporin.
Cquin-এর সাথে যেসব ওষুধের ইন্টারঅ্যাকশন হতে পারে:
অ্যান্টাসিড (৪ ঘণ্টা ব্যবধানে নিন), QT দীর্ঘকারী ওষুধ, ডায়াবেটিসের ওষুধ, ডিগক্সিন, সাইক্লোস্পোরিন।
Contraindicationsপ্রতিনির্দেশনা
Cquin should not be used in:
- Hypersensitivity to 4-aminoquinolines.
- Existing retinopathy.
- Caution in epilepsy, psoriasis and G6PD deficiency.

- Nausea, headache, itching, dizziness.
- Retinal toxicity with long-term use, QT prolongation.
