Indicationsনির্দেশনা
Clindacin is indicated for the treatment of:
- Serious infections of bone and joints, skin and soft tissue, respiratory tract, pelvis and abdomen.
- Dental infections.
- Acne (topical forms) and bacterial vaginosis (vaginal forms).
- Toxoplasmosis and, with quinine, malaria.

Dosage & Administrationমাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
Dosage and administration of Clindacin:
- Adults: 150-450 mg every 6 hours orally; IV or IM 600-1,200 mg daily in divided doses, up to 2.7 g daily in severe infections.
- Children: by body weight.

- প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক: মুখে প্রতি ৬ ঘণ্টা অন্তর 150-450 mg; IV বা IM হলে দৈনিক 600-1,200 mg ভাগ করে, গুরুতর সংক্রমণে দৈনিক 2.7 g পর্যন্ত।
- শিশু: ওজন অনুযায়ী।

Possible side effects of Clindacin:
- Diarrhoea, nausea, rash.
- Serious: Clostridioides difficile colitis (stop and seek advice if severe or bloody diarrhoea).

- Caution in digestive tract disease, liver and kidney impairment.
- Stop if significant diarrhoea develops.
