Indicationsনির্দেশনা
Cefaking is indicated for the treatment of:
- Serious bacterial infections: septicaemia, lower respiratory tract and urinary tract infections.
- Intra-abdominal, pelvic and skin infections; surgical prophylaxis.
Cefaking নিম্নলিখিত ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহৃত হয়:
- গুরুতর ব্যাকটেরিয়াল সংক্রমণ: সেপ্টিসিমিয়া, নিচের শ্বাসতন্ত্র ও মূত্রনালির সংক্রমণ।
- পেট, শ্রোণি ও ত্বকের সংক্রমণ; অস্ত্রোপচারের আগে সংক্রমণ প্রতিরোধ।

Bactericidal; blocks bacterial cell-wall synthesis.

Dosage & Administrationমাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
Dosage and administration of Cefaking:
- Adults: 1-2 g IV or IM every 12 hours (up to 8 g daily in severe infection); reduce in liver impairment.
- Hospital use.
Cefaking-এর মাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি:
- প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক: প্রতি ১২ ঘণ্টা অন্তর IV বা IM এ 1-2 g (গুরুতর সংক্রমণে দৈনিক 8 g পর্যন্ত); লিভারের কার্যক্ষমতা কম থাকলে কমান।
- হাসপাতালে ব্যবহার্য।

Cefaking should not be used in:
Hypersensitivity to cephalosporins.

Side Effectsপার্শ্বপ্রতিক্রিয়া
Possible side effects of Cefaking:
- Diarrhoea, rash, nausea, phlebitis, bleeding tendency (vitamin K deficiency).
- Flushing and sickness if alcohol is taken during and for several days after treatment.
Cefaking-এর সম্ভাব্য পার্শ্বপ্রতিক্রিয়া:
- ডায়রিয়া, ত্বকে র্যাশ, বমি বমি ভাব, শিরার প্রদাহ, রক্তক্ষরণের প্রবণতা (ভিটামিন K এর ঘাটতি)।
- চিকিৎসাকালে এবং পরে কয়েক দিন অ্যালকোহল নিলে মুখমণ্ডল লালচে হওয়া ও অসুস্থ বোধ।

Precautions & Warningsসতর্কতা
Precautions while using Cefaking:
- Avoid alcohol during and for 5 days after treatment.
- Monitor clotting in malnutrition and prolonged use.
Cefaking ব্যবহারের সময় সতর্কতা:
- চিকিৎসাকালে এবং শেষ হওয়ার ৫ দিন পর পর্যন্ত অ্যালকোহল এড়িয়ে চলুন।
- অপুষ্টি ও দীর্ঘ ব্যবহারে রক্ত জমাট বাঁধার ক্ষমতা পর্যবেক্ষণ করুন।
