Indicationsনির্দেশনা
Bipen is indicated for the treatment of:
- Serious infections by sensitive bacteria: meningococcal disease, pneumonia, endocarditis.
- Syphilis, tetanus, anthrax, gas gangrene and streptococcal infections.
Bipen নিম্নলিখিত ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহৃত হয়:
- সংবেদনশীল জীবাণুজনিত গুরুতর সংক্রমণ: মেনিনজোকক্কাল রোগ, নিউমোনিয়া, এন্ডোকার্ডাইটিস।
- সিফিলিস, টিটেনাস, অ্যানথ্রাক্স, গ্যাস গ্যাংগ্রিন ও স্ট্রেপ্টোকক্কাল সংক্রমণ।

Bactericidal; blocks bacterial cell-wall synthesis.

Dosage & Administrationমাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
Dosage and administration of Bipen:
- Adults: 600 mg-1.2 g IV or IM every 4-6 hours; up to 2.4 g every 4 hours in meningitis or endocarditis.
- Children: 25-50 mg/kg per dose by weight.
- Hospital use.
Bipen-এর মাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি:
- প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক: প্রতি ৪-৬ ঘণ্টা অন্তর IV বা IM এ 600 mg-1.2 g; মেনিনজাইটিস বা এন্ডোকার্ডাইটিসে প্রতি ৪ ঘণ্টা অন্তর 2.4 g পর্যন্ত।
- শিশু: ওজন অনুযায়ী প্রতি মাত্রায় 25-50 mg/kg।
- হাসপাতালে ব্যবহার্য।
