Indicationsনির্দেশনা
Anleptic is indicated for the treatment of:
- Partial and generalised tonic-clonic seizures.
- Trigeminal neuralgia.
- Bipolar disorder (specialist use).
Anleptic নিম্নলিখিত ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহৃত হয়:

- ট্রাইজেমিনাল নিউরালজিয়া।
- বাইপোলার ডিসঅর্ডার (বিশেষজ্ঞের তত্ত্বাবধানে)।

Blocks sodium channels, reducing abnormal nerve firing.
সোডিয়াম চ্যানেল বন্ধ করে অস্বাভাবিক স্নায়ু সংকেত কমায়।
Dosage & Administrationমাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
Dosage and administration of Anleptic:
- Adults: start 100-200 mg once or twice daily, increased slowly to 400-1,200 mg/day in divided doses; trigeminal neuralgia 200-800 mg daily.
- Do not stop suddenly.

- প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক: দিনে একবার বা দুইবার ১০০-২০০ মিগ্রা দিয়ে শুরু, ধীরে ধীরে বাড়িয়ে ভাগ করে দিনে ৪০০-১,২০০ মিগ্রা; ট্রাইজেমিনাল নিউরালজিয়ায় দিনে ২০০-৮০০ মিগ্রা।
- হঠাৎ বন্ধ করবেন না।
Interactionড্রাগ ইন্টারঅ্যাকশন
Anleptic may interact with:
Strong enzyme inducer: warfarin, oral contraceptives, other antiepileptics, many other drugs; erythromycin and clarithromycin raise its levels.
Anleptic-এর সাথে যেসব ওষুধের ইন্টারঅ্যাকশন হতে পারে:
শক্তিশালী এনজাইম উদ্দীপক: ওয়ারফারিন, জন্মনিয়ন্ত্রণ পিল, অন্য খিঁচুনির ওষুধ, আরও অনেক ওষুধ; এরিথ্রোমাইসিন ও ক্ল্যারিথ্রোমাইসিন এর মাত্রা বাড়ায়।
Contraindicationsপ্রতিনির্দেশনা
Anleptic should not be used in:
- Heart block; bone marrow depression; porphyria.
- Use with MAO inhibitors.
- Hypersensitivity to carbamazepine or tricyclics.
Anleptic যাদের ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহার করা উচিত নয়:
- হার্ট ব্লক; অস্থিমজ্জার অবসাদ; পরফাইরিয়া।
- MAO ইনহিবিটরের সাথে।

Side Effectsপার্শ্বপ্রতিক্রিয়া
Possible side effects of Anleptic:
- Dizziness, drowsiness, unsteadiness, nausea, rash, low sodium.
- Serious: severe skin reactions (SJS/TEN), blood disorders, liver injury.
Anleptic-এর সম্ভাব্য পার্শ্বপ্রতিক্রিয়া:
- মাথা ঘোরা, তন্দ্রা, টলমল ভাব, বমি বমি ভাব, র্যাশ, সোডিয়াম কমে যাওয়া।
- গুরুতর: গুরুতর ত্বকের প্রতিক্রিয়া (SJS/TEN), রক্তের সমস্যা, লিভারের ক্ষতি।

Precautions & Warningsসতর্কতা
Precautions while using Anleptic:
- Screen for the HLA-B*1502 gene in people of Asian ancestry before starting.
- Monitor blood counts, liver function and sodium.
