Akupen is indicated for the treatment of:
Moderate acute and chronic pain, including after surgery.

Dosage and administration of Akupen:
- Adults: 30-90 mg three times daily (start with 30 mg three times daily).
- Injection forms are used under medical supervision.

- Convulsive disorders.
- Use with MAO inhibitors; recent heart attack; narrow-angle glaucoma; urinary retention.

Possible side effects of Akupen:
- Nausea, sweating, dry mouth, drowsiness, fast heartbeat, light-headedness.
- Urine may turn pink (harmless).
