Akicin IM/IV is indicated for the treatment of:

  • Serious Gram-negative infections, including those resistant to gentamicin.
  • Septicaemia, complicated urinary tract and respiratory infections.

Dosage and administration of Akicin IM/IV:

  • Adults: 15 mg/kg/day IV or IM as one or two doses; adjusted by kidney function and blood levels.
  • Hospital use.
