AFDCDT-3 is indicated for the treatment of:
Tuberculosis treatment (intensive phase) under the national TB programme, commonly in children.

Dose is by body weight band as per national guidelines, as a fixed-dose combination taken once daily on an empty stomach; treatment is directly observed.

Rifampicin reduces the effect of oral contraceptives, warfarin, antiretrovirals, antidiabetics and many other drugs.

Contraindicationsপ্রতিনির্দেশনা
AFDCDT-3 should not be used in:
- Acute liver disease.
- Acute gout; porphyria; hypersensitivity.

Possible side effects of AFDCDT-3:
- Nausea, rash, joint pain, orange urine and secretions, tingling in the hands and feet.
- Hepatitis, raised uric acid.

Precautions while using AFDCDT-3:
