Indicationsনির্দেশনা
Bactipen /Vial is indicated for the treatment of:
- Severe infections: hospital-acquired pneumonia.
- Complicated urinary tract, intra-abdominal, skin and soft tissue infections.
- Bacterial meningitis and septicaemia.
- Febrile neutropenia.

- গুরুতর সংক্রমণ: হাসপাতালে অর্জিত নিউমোনিয়া।
- জটিল মূত্রনালি, পেট, ত্বক ও নরম কলার সংক্রমণ।
- ব্যাকটেরিয়াল মেনিনজাইটিস ও সেপ্টিসিমিয়া।
- জ্বরসহ নিউট্রোপেনিয়া।

Dosage & Administrationমাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
Dosage and administration of Bactipen /Vial:
- Adults: 500 mg to 1 g IV every 8 hours; meningitis 2 g every 8 hours; reduce in kidney impairment.
- Children: by body weight.
- Hospital use only.
Bactipen /Vial-এর মাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি:
- প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক: প্রতি ৮ ঘণ্টা অন্তর IV তে 500 mg-1 g; মেনিনজাইটিসে প্রতি ৮ ঘণ্টা অন্তর 2 g; কিডনির কার্যক্ষমতা কম থাকলে কমাতে হবে।
- শিশু: ওজন অনুযায়ী।
- কেবল হাসপাতালে ব্যবহার্য।

- Hypersensitivity to carbapenems.
- Caution with severe allergy to other beta-lactams.

- Diarrhoea, nausea, headache, rash, injection-site reactions.
- Rare: seizures, colitis, blood disorders.

- ডায়রিয়া, বমি বমি ভাব, মাথাব্যথা, ত্বকে র্যাশ, ইনজেকশনের স্থানে প্রতিক্রিয়া।

- Caution with a history of seizures.
- Check for penicillin or cephalosporin allergy.
- Reduce dose in kidney impairment.
