Silofast is indicated for the treatment of:
Urinary symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia.

Relaxes muscle in the prostate and bladder neck.

Dosage & Administrationমাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
Dosage and administration of Silofast:
Adults (men): 8 mg once daily with a meal; 4 mg in moderate kidney impairment.
Silofast-এর মাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি:
প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক (পুরুষ): খাবারের সাথে দিনে একবার ৮ মিগ্রা; মাঝারি কিডনি সমস্যায় ৪ মিগ্রা।
Interactionড্রাগ ইন্টারঅ্যাকশন
Silofast may interact with:
Strong CYP3A4 inhibitors, other alpha blockers, PDE5 inhibitors, antihypertensives.
Silofast-এর সাথে যেসব ওষুধের ইন্টারঅ্যাকশন হতে পারে:
শক্তিশালী CYP3A4 প্রতিরোধক, অন্য আলফা ব্লকার, PDE5 ইনহিবিটর, উচ্চ রক্তচাপের ওষুধ।
Contraindicationsপ্রতিনির্দেশনা
Silofast should not be used in:
- Severe kidney or liver impairment.
- Use with strong CYP3A4 inhibitors (ketoconazole, ritonavir).
Silofast যাদের ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহার করা উচিত নয়:
- গুরুতর কিডনি বা লিভার সমস্যা।

Side Effectsপার্শ্বপ্রতিক্রিয়া
Possible side effects of Silofast:
Abnormal (retrograde) ejaculation, dizziness, low blood pressure on standing, diarrhoea.

Precautions while using Silofast:
- Tell the eye surgeon before cataract surgery.
- Rise slowly from sitting or lying.
