Indicationsনির্দেশনা
Nilocef is indicated for the treatment of:
- Community-acquired pneumonia and bronchitis.
- Otitis media, sinusitis, pharyngitis and tonsillitis.
- Uncomplicated skin and soft tissue infections.
Nilocef নিম্নলিখিত ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহৃত হয়:
- কমিউনিটি-অর্জিত নিউমোনিয়া ও ব্রংকাইটিস।
- কান, সাইনাস, গলা ও টনসিলের সংক্রমণ।
- ত্বক ও নরম কলার সংক্রমণ।
Pharmacologyফার্মাকোলজি
Bactericidal; blocks bacterial cell-wall synthesis.
জীবাণুনাশক; ব্যাকটেরিয়ার কোষপ্রাচীর তৈরি বন্ধ করে।
Dosage & Administrationমাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
Dosage and administration of Nilocef:
- Adults: 300 mg twice daily or 600 mg once daily for 5-10 days.
- Children: 14 mg/kg/day in one or two doses.
- Reduce in severe kidney impairment.
Nilocef-এর মাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি:
- প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক: দিনে দুইবার ৩০০ মিগ্রা বা দিনে একবার ৬০০ মিগ্রা, ৫-১০ দিন।
- শিশু: এক বা দুই মাত্রায় দিনে ১৪ মিগ্রা/কেজি।
- গুরুতর কিডনি সমস্যায় মাত্রা কমান।
Interactionড্রাগ ইন্টারঅ্যাকশন
Nilocef may interact with:
Iron supplements and antacids (separate by 2 hours); probenecid; warfarin.
Nilocef-এর সাথে যেসব ওষুধের ইন্টারঅ্যাকশন হতে পারে:
আয়রন সাপ্লিমেন্ট ও অ্যান্টাসিড (২ ঘণ্টা ব্যবধানে নিন); প্রোবেনেসিড; ওয়ারফারিন।
Contraindicationsপ্রতিনির্দেশনা
Nilocef should not be used in:
Hypersensitivity to cephalosporins.

Side Effectsপার্শ্বপ্রতিক্রিয়া
Possible side effects of Nilocef:
- Diarrhoea, nausea, abdominal pain, rash.
- Rare: severe allergic reaction, Clostridioides difficile colitis, blood disorders.

Precautions while using Nilocef:
- Check for penicillin or cephalosporin allergy before use.
- Reduce the dose in kidney impairment.
- Prolonged use can cause overgrowth of resistant organisms.
