Heparin Sodium is indicated for the treatment of:

  • Prevention and treatment of deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism.
  • Acute coronary syndrome; anticoagulation during dialysis and cardiac surgery.

Heparin Sodium নিম্নলিখিত ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহৃত হয়:

Enhances antithrombin, which blocks clotting factors and prevents clot growth.

অ্যান্টিথ্রম্বিনকে বাড়ায়, যা জমাট বাঁধার ফ্যাক্টর আটকে জমাট বড় হওয়া রোধ করে।

Dosage & Administrationমাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি

Dosage and administration of Heparin Sodium:

  • Prophylaxis: 5,000 IU SC every 8-12 hours.
  • Treatment: IV bolus 5,000 IU, then an infusion adjusted to aPTT (about 18 IU/kg/hour).
  • Hospital use.

Heparin Sodium-এর মাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি:

  • প্রতিরোধ: প্রতি ৮-১২ ঘণ্টায় ত্বকের নিচে ৫,০০০ IU।

Other anticoagulants, antiplatelets, NSAIDs, thrombolytics, nitroglycerin infusion.

Heparin Sodium should not be used in:

  • Active major bleeding.
  • History of heparin-induced thrombocytopenia; severe thrombocytopenia; hypersensitivity.
