Xoviral is indicated for the treatment of:
Treatment and prevention of cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection in immunocompromised patients.

Dosage & Administrationমাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
Dosage and administration of Xoviral:
- Induction: 5 mg/kg IV every 12 hours for 14-21 days; maintenance 5 mg/kg once daily; reduce in kidney impairment.
- Hospital use.
Xoviral-এর মাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি:
- ইনডাকশন: ১৪-২১ দিন প্রতি ১২ ঘণ্টায় ৫ mg/kg শিরায়; মেইনটেন্যান্স দিনে একবার ৫ mg/kg; কিডনির দুর্বলতায় কমান।
- হাসপাতালে ব্যবহার্য।

Xoviral should not be used in:
- Very low neutrophil or platelet counts.
- Hypersensitivity to ganciclovir or valganciclovir.
