Indicationsনির্দেশনা
Furoclav is indicated for the treatment of:
- Pharyngitis, tonsillitis, sinusitis and otitis media caused by beta-lactamase producing bacteria.
- Bronchitis and pneumonia.
- Urinary tract infections.
- Skin and soft tissue infections.
Furoclav নিম্নলিখিত ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহৃত হয়:

Dosage & Administrationমাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
Dosage and administration of Furoclav:
- Adults: usually 500 mg cefuroxime with 125 mg clavulanic acid twice daily after food, as directed.
- Reduce dose in kidney impairment.
- Children: by body weight.

- প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক: সাধারণত খাবারের পর দিনে দুইবার 500 mg সেফুরক্সিমের সাথে 125 mg ক্লাভুলানিক অ্যাসিড, নির্দেশনা অনুযায়ী।

- Hypersensitivity to cephalosporins.
- History of liver problems with clavulanic acid.

- Diarrhoea, nausea, abdominal pain, rash.
- Rare: severe allergic reaction, Clostridioides difficile colitis, blood disorders.
