Lorazepam is indicated for the treatment of:
- Short-term relief of anxiety.
- Insomnia related to anxiety.
- Status epilepticus (IV) and sedation before procedures.

Dosage & Administrationমাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
Dosage and administration of Lorazepam:
- Adults: anxiety 1-4 mg daily in divided doses; insomnia 1-2 mg at night; status epilepticus 4 mg IV under supervision.
- Use for the shortest time (usually 2-4 weeks).

Lorazepam should not be used in:
- Severe breathing problems, sleep apnoea, severe liver disease, myasthenia gravis.
- History of drug dependence (caution).
