Indicationsনির্দেশনা
Sodicarb is indicated for the treatment of:
- Metabolic acidosis.
- Heartburn and acid indigestion (oral antacid).
- Urinary alkalinisation in some poisonings; adjunct in high blood potassium.

Dosage and administration of Sodicarb:
- Antacid: 0.5-2 g by mouth up to four times daily.
- IV doses are given in hospital and guided by blood tests.

Sodicarb should not be used in:
- Metabolic alkalosis, low blood calcium or potassium.
- Severe heart failure or fluid overload (sodium load).
