Indicationsনির্দেশনা
Griseofulvin is indicated for the treatment of:
Tinea capitis, corporis, pedis and unguium when topical treatment is not enough.

Binds to fungal microtubules and stops cell division.
ছত্রাকের মাইক্রোটিউবিউলের সাথে যুক্ত হয়ে কোষ বিভাজন বন্ধ করে।
Dosage & Administrationমাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
Dosage and administration of Griseofulvin:
- Adults: 500 mg to 1 g daily (microsize) with a fatty meal for 4-8 weeks; scalp infection 6-8 weeks; nail infections for many months.
- Children: 10 mg/kg daily.
Griseofulvin-এর মাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি:
- প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক: চর্বিযুক্ত খাবারের সাথে দিনে ৫০০ মিগ্রা থেকে ১ গ্রাম (মাইক্রোসাইজ), ৪-৮ সপ্তাহ; মাথার ত্বকের সংক্রমণে ৬-৮ সপ্তাহ; নখের সংক্রমণে অনেক মাস।
- শিশু: দিনে ১০ মিগ্রা/কেজি।
Interactionড্রাগ ইন্টারঅ্যাকশন
Griseofulvin may interact with:
Warfarin, oral contraceptives (reduced effect), alcohol, phenobarbitone.
Griseofulvin-এর সাথে যেসব ওষুধের ইন্টারঅ্যাকশন হতে পারে:
ওয়ারফারিন, জন্মনিয়ন্ত্রণ পিল (কার্যকারিতা কমে), অ্যালকোহল, ফেনোবারবিটোন।
Contraindicationsপ্রতিনির্দেশনা
Griseofulvin should not be used in:
- Porphyria; liver failure.
- Pregnancy; lupus; hypersensitivity.

- Rare: liver problems, blood disorders.

Precautions while using Griseofulvin:
- Take with fatty food.
- Avoid sunlight; avoid alcohol.
- Effective contraception during treatment and for a month (women) or 6 months (men) after.
Griseofulvin ব্যবহারের সময় সতর্কতা:
- চর্বিযুক্ত খাবারের সাথে নিন।
