Gevril is indicated for the treatment of:
- Schizophrenia and other psychoses; mania.
- Severe nausea and vomiting; intractable hiccups.
- Severe agitation and sedation before procedures.

- Adults: psychosis 25-100 mg three times daily (up to 1 g daily in hospital); nausea 10-25 mg every 4-6 hours.

- Bone marrow suppression; phaeochromocytoma; severe liver disease.
