Rivaroxaban is indicated for the treatment of:
- Stroke prevention in non-valvular atrial fibrillation.
- Treatment and prevention of deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism.
- Prevention of clots after hip or knee replacement; reduction of cardiovascular events in selected patients.
Rivaroxaban নিম্নলিখিত ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহৃত হয়:
- নন-ভালভুলার অ্যাট্রিয়াল ফাইব্রিলেশনে স্ট্রোক প্রতিরোধ।
- ডিপ ভেইন থ্রম্বোসিস ও পালমোনারি এমবোলিজমের চিকিৎসা ও প্রতিরোধ।
- হিপ বা হাঁটু প্রতিস্থাপনের পর রক্ত জমাট প্রতিরোধ।

Dosage & Administrationমাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
Dosage and administration of Rivaroxaban:
- Atrial fibrillation: 20 mg once daily with the evening meal (15 mg in moderate kidney impairment).
- DVT/PE: 15 mg twice daily for 21 days, then 20 mg once daily.
- After hip or knee surgery: 10 mg once daily.
Rivaroxaban-এর মাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি:
- অ্যাট্রিয়াল ফিব্রিলেশন: সন্ধ্যার খাবারের সাথে দিনে একবার 20 mg (কিডনির মাঝারি অকার্যকারিতায় 15 mg)।
- DVT/PE: ২১ দিন দিনে দুইবার 15 mg, এরপর দিনে একবার 20 mg।
- হিপ বা হাঁটুর অস্ত্রোপচারের পর: দিনে একবার 10 mg।

Contraindicationsপ্রতিনির্দেশনা
Rivaroxaban should not be used in:
- Active major bleeding or high bleeding risk.
- Severe liver disease with bleeding risk.
- Pregnancy; use with other anticoagulants (except in switching).
- Hypersensitivity.

- অতিসংবেদনশীলতা।

Possible side effects of Rivaroxaban:
- Bleeding (nose, gums, urine, stomach), bruising, anaemia, nausea.
- Rare: serious bleeding, spinal haematoma after spinal anaesthesia.
