Glimepiride + Metformin Hydrochloride is indicated for the treatment of:
Type 2 diabetes mellitus when treatment with both glimepiride and metformin is appropriate.

Dosage and administration of Glimepiride + Metformin Hydrochloride:
Adults: one tablet once or twice daily with meals (for example glimepiride 1 or 2 mg with metformin 500 mg), adjusted by the doctor.

Contraindicationsপ্রতিনির্দেশনা
Glimepiride + Metformin Hydrochloride should not be used in:
- Hypersensitivity.
- Diabetic ketoacidosis.
- Severe kidney impairment (eGFR below 30), severe liver disease, heavy alcohol use.
- Conditions that risk lactic acidosis.

Possible side effects of Glimepiride + Metformin Hydrochloride:
- Low blood sugar, nausea, diarrhoea, stomach upset, weight gain.
- Rare: lactic acidosis.
