Cortan is indicated for the treatment of:
- Intra-articular treatment of arthritis and soft tissue inflammation.
- Intramuscular treatment of severe allergic and inflammatory conditions.
- Intralesional treatment of skin lesions.

- Intra-articular: 4-80 mg depending on the joint.
- Intramuscular: 40-120 mg as directed.
- Not for intravenous or epidural use; given only by a trained doctor.
