Aloxif is indicated for the treatment of:
- Treatment and prevention of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women.
- Reduction of invasive breast cancer risk in selected women.

Dosage & Administrationমাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
Dosage and administration of Aloxif:
Women: 60 mg once daily, with or without food; take calcium and vitamin D if the diet is low.

নারী: খাবারসহ বা ছাড়া দিনে একবার ৬০ mg; খাদ্যে কম থাকলে ক্যালসিয়াম ও ভিটামিন ডি নিন।
Interactionড্রাগ ইন্টারঅ্যাকশন
Aloxif may interact with:
Warfarin (monitor INR), cholestyramine (reduces absorption), oestrogens (avoid together).
Aloxif-এর সাথে যেসব ওষুধের ইন্টারঅ্যাকশন হতে পারে:
ওয়ারফারিন (INR পর্যবেক্ষণ করুন), কোলেস্টাইরামিন (শোষণ কমায়), ইস্ট্রোজেন (একসঙ্গে এড়িয়ে চলুন)।
Contraindicationsপ্রতিনির্দেশনা
Aloxif should not be used in:
- History of blood clots (deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, retinal vein thrombosis).
- Pregnancy and women who can become pregnant; unexplained uterine bleeding; endometrial cancer; active liver disease.

Possible side effects of Aloxif:
- Hot flushes, leg cramps, swelling of the legs.
- Rare: blood clots, stroke-related death in high-risk women.
