- High blood pressure.
- Migraine prevention; menopausal flushing (selected).
- Symptoms of opioid or alcohol withdrawal (specialist).

Dosage and administration of Clonidine Hydrochloride:
- Adults: start 50-100 mcg two to three times daily, increased gradually to 300-1,200 mcg daily in divided doses.
- Do not stop suddenly.
